Burscough is a thriving community located by the Leeds to Liverpool Canal on the A59. about half way between Liverpool and Preston. Burscough is home to Martin Mere, a Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre of national importance. In recent years there has been an exciting programme of regeneration including refurbishment of The Wharf, a major part of our canal heritage.
